My phone contacts became propagated with email addresses. Regular contacts app could be changed but it would not take hold in phone contacts. Went thru tech support with Verizon and Motorola. No one could fix the problem. I moved on to the Turbo.
I also had the 'optimizing apps' problem when rebooting the phone.
All hail 5.1. What a can of crap that was.
Yes I did factory reset on the MotoX.
