Phone "died" yesterday

I had to do a factory reset on my Mytouch yesterday.

I wasn't able to text at all anymore. My messaging program would crash every time I opened it up.

THEN the "1/2/3" on the dial pad was shifted to the left and also slanted.

I took it to the store and they said there's nothing to be done so we did a hard reset, unfortunately. Lost all my apps

This is the first problem I've had with the phone and I've had it for a year. YMMV
