Phone does not vibrate or ring on incoming calls

Hi guys,

Sorry if this is a duplicate post. I have a Verizon Galaxy S3 running AOKP, 8-20-13 nightly.
I have an issue where my phone will not vibrate or ring on any settings I try for incoming calls. All other notifications such as emails and texts will vibrate or play their notification sound. I have tried clearing my cache and davlik cache and that has temporarily helped in the past. This issue has also been a recurring issue for many different ROMs.
Settings are on vibrate while ringing. Same result if I try vibrate only or any volume for ring. The phone also vibrates when I set it to vibrate only and the volume adjust sound works.

Any ideas?

Welcome to the forums!
Might there be a separate setting in the phone app? At least there is on Slim.

The settings in the phone application pull from the main sound settings. Set to vibrate when ringing. It also allows you to select the vibrate pattern and that does vibrate when choosing between settings as well. Just not for a call.

The only thing I can now think of is that ROM is a nightly, meaning it is experimental, and has bugs. This may be one.

That definitely makes sense. I thought that as well with previous nightlies but had the same problem with milestone 2.
Thinking it might not be a software issue anymore. Might try going back to stock temporarily to see if that fixes it. It will be painful on touchwiz again though.

Thanks for your input.

I can't seem to find "media audio" anywhere. My S4 just started doing this yesterday and it is my business phone so I really need a quick fix.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Once you have Bluetooth enabled you'll see a list of your paired devices.

Tap the gear icon next to the device you want to manage and you'll see the various profile parameters that you can enable/disable.

After reading the comments it did worked for me to turn off the Assist app on my Moto G2, it was supposed to stay quiet at nights only so must be a bug or something.
