Hey guys! I have a problem with my phone. I have Samsung Galaxy J5 2016 (in May 2 years with it) and recently I've got some problems. One problem is that sometimes when battery is low (<15%) sometimes phone goes crazy. Usually at 10-6% phone starts glitching (screen) and it turns off after like 15s, and when I connect to charger, it says 0%. How is it glitching? Well it's like someone is touching screen, swiping in all directions and can't controll it. If I press home button or button to turn screen off, it will responde after like 3-5s. Second problem is, sometimes when my phone turns off (0% battery), I take battery off and then I put it back and when I turn phone on, it have some % of battery (not always same). Third problem is: phone is sometimes slow as f. after 7.1.1. Nougat update. Sometimes I can't even use my phone and need to restart so I can use it again. I don't have much apps (Whatsapp,Viber, etc.) and it can't effect phone that much. It was good phone before 7.1.1. update. After that, its all going bad. Can't handle this and can't get new phone soon. Thank you

That's all normal, and all caused by the same problem - letting the battery go down below 40%. After over 2.5 years, the battery is probably nearly dead.

Lithium batteries are good for only 2 things. Lithium is the lightest metal, so lithium batteries are light. And a lithium polymer battery can be made thin.

They're not deep-discharge batteries. Discharging them deeply causes all sorts of weird effects, and kills them.

(Everyone wants thin, light phones that we can use for days without charging. It's not possible with today's technology - unless you want to carry a 20,000 mAh power pack or use a Gel Cel battery in the phone - which would double the size of the phone, and it would weigh about 3 pounds.)

Try clearing the system cache (Volume Up+Home+Power, then use the volume keys to move down, and the power button to select the choice you're on). Only the cache, not the Dalvik cache or the phone itself.

The number of apps on the phone doesn't affect operation at all, only the number currently running.
