I have a 2014 Moto X. I've been in love with the phone ever since I got it after its release, it has been working flawlessly and being blazing fast, with no lag whatsoever - you just tapped whatever and bam, there it was, there and then. Around two weeks ago, though, suddenly the phone became so FREAKING LAGGY that it's a chore to use it.
It got considerably slower throughout (no app opens instantly like they used to) and on top of that there are at least 10 uber-lags every day where you tap something (say, Facebook app) and you wait. And wait. And then wait some more. All while looking at a blank screen and irresponsive software keys cause everything just froze, the only thing you can do while waiting being to slide down and up the notification bar to kill some time cause this doesn't lag.
What can be the problem? I looked through the apps, can't see anything new that could be causing this for the love of life. There were no system updates in the past weeks either. The free storage is the same as it used to be, around 1GB. What may be the problem?
