Phone has mind of its own

I have a LG K20 phone I have a similar situation very similar situation that happens to me it touches and clicks random things that I am not clicking this really all started like back in October and it was just not doing it as much But as time went on kept doing it more and now it's worse it keeps hitting buttons like crazy and I'm not hitting like for example I know some people say they're texting at all type random letters you know just open apps and you're not opening or like if you use the internet it will click things that you are not clicking and I have no control over this I am not clicking on anything and that it's the best way I can describe it I think calling it The Ghost touches like how someone called it above as a good name description of the problem. it is very annoying like how people are saying on here and it kind of makes me feel good that I'm not the only one out there that's experiencing it I have felt alone in the dark for so long about this issue my previous phone what's up previous version of the L GK 20 I think my previous phone was a LG k 7 and I had no problems with that phone the only reason I had to upgrade to this version is because my old one somehow die and wasn't able to stay turned on and that's when I upgraded to the LG K20 like about 6 months ago

And plus I took it to my local T-Mobile that's my phone carrier and all they could tell me is I have certain clean up apps that's bad for my phone and they cracked open my phone to see the battery and all the phone cards that stored in it I put the battery back in put the phone back together and that's all they did and they told me that to be mindful of certain things that you download on the internet cuz certain things have cookies and it could cause this problem and I took it to them twice and that's all they did for me it's a really hard thing when you take it into someone that's supposed to fix the issue and you try to do your best to explain it to them but then it's like I don't know how to help you cuz this one of the things I guess that's hard to explain cuz if it's not hitting buttons when you're explaining it to the technician I can't see what's going on so it's hard for them to fix it but still they should know what you're talkin about and know how to fix the problem and it's very frustrating very frustrating thing I have tried erasing and rebooting the whole system and then having everything stored back on and it still kept doing the hitting buttons on the hitting like how people describe on here it hits random buttons and I'm not hitting I have no control over it and to just tell me it's from clean up app that's bad for my phone that's doing it come on now I think it's a lot more than just that I don't know what it is but I can't seem to get any help from anyone to fix it

Hi Jason, welcome to the forums!
Do you have a screen protector n that device? They can trigger false touches at times.
I'd also do a cache partition wipe first thing just to tidy up the device a little.. That's where you start troubleshooting.
You can google "secret codes for LG K20, and you should find a code that gets you into service mode where you can check the hardware.
If you have any problems doing this come back and we'll talk you through it...
Try that and come back to tell us what you found..
