Anyone getting the same issue? All of a sudden I hear the phone reboot and get the 4g splash screen. Are there any updates being installed or something? Is this something I should be worried about?

This happened to my friend. She did a factory reset and it was fine.

Not the best option of course but it worked...

Well disable swype and see if it keeps happening. Remember swype is still in beta...

Was happening to me for a few days in a row after installing "Newsrob" for my Google reader feeds & when it would auto update (which I set to every 4hrs), it would reset. Since I've uninstalled it, all is good (knock on wood).

I had the same problem right when I first bought my phone I tried uninstalling the apps and reinstalling them. It helped a little it wouldn't do it as often. Then I decided to just go ahead and reset the phone and now I haven't had a problem sense and I reinstalled all the same apps I did before with all the same settings. I also get better battery life now too. Killed two birds with one stone. Nothing crazy just an extra hour or two.

i think im going to have to do that. just want to make sure my phone is working in time so i can talk ish to celtic fans during the game. haha!

This happened to me once when I installed Battery Indicator for my EVO. The phone rebooted and then had issues with the camera. I immediately uninstalled the app and haven't had any issues since.

Did you not see my HUGE post about this yesterday? Is your "always on data" mode enabled or disabled???? This seems to be the culprit.

Settings>wireless and networks>mobile networks>enable always on data

I had this happen on my old Samsung Moment i did a factory reset and everything was fine after.
