Yesterday I checked and it was around 700 mah. Today it's at 862 mah. I've been setting up my phone. Watching a few YouTube videos and social media. That's about it. I watch out for it the next few days. Thanks. It depends on your time since the last charge and what you're doing with your phone. If your phone is brand new then it will take a day or two to settle.
You can click on the System Idle process and see how much battery it's using in mAh. Keep an eye on it over the next two days. Even with a high percentage it might not be using much battery.
I just recently purchased this phone. I was wonder if it is normal for the phone idle to be 28%? It feels like my battery has been draining faster than normal. Thank you.
Last night it was at 25% right before I went to bed. I had about 43% battery remaining. I woke up and my phone was dead.My phone idle is always the first under battery usage. Right now it's just at 8% I have been unplugged for 9 hours. Was that the total percentage at the end if the day?
Could be social media apps datamining you in the background, using location services, etc. They're notorious for draining batteries. It's not likely the phone. It's almost always the apps someone installs.Last night it was at 25% right before I went to bed. I had about 43% battery remaining. I woke up and my phone was dead.

I set it up as a new phone. How did you set the phone up, from a back up or new. When transferring all your data and apps it can create bugs and issues. I know in the beginning with this phone. It was recommended to set it up fresh. That's what I did and I have experienced little to no issues. If you can't find a rouge app, there might be a gremlin due to setting up from a back up. Also with the amount if ota's pushed to the device since launch. That's always a way to have an issue arise.
There was a new update pushed today, see if it still happens after that. You might need to just factory reset the device and set it up new.
I set it up as a new phone.
When you initially set up the phone with a Google account you're given the option of restoring from a backup or setting up as a new device. Both options use the same account. It's only the approach that differs.
Whether it's an issue or not is difficult to say. Many of us who haven't had any problems with our devices have set them up as a new device rather than restoring system/app settings from backup. Unless you're going from one PH-1 to a second PH-1, new seems to be a good approach.
You'd be starting fresh in all of your apps and preferences. FWIW you might try setting up from backup and if that has problems then you can start fresh. I have to think that most people's issues are in part tied to the apps that they install.thanks, so just so I understand, with the "new" approach, I will not, for example, have my whatsapp chat history after I install whatsapp? I am trying to figure out what data will I be losing...
