Phone Insurance

I have kept insurance on last couple of phones through Verizon. Lately my FB feed has been popping up with Square Trade insurance.

Anyone use Square Trade?

Square trade is good and super cheap. Totally worth it imo.

I would use Samsung's insurance, it's just 12 bucks a month and a replacement is only 99 bucks. Not sure of square trade, but on sprint the asurion just went up for deductibles to 250 for the newest phone and the monthly premium went from 13 to 17

Just make sure not to buy the coverage with the phone on financing from Samsung. They'll charge you interest on the protection plan which is stupid. They treat it like a separate transaction.

I have square trade, great value with a 3 year plan that's transferable to any device you upgrade to in the future
