Phone interrupts wireless charging if USB-C to AUX adapter is plugged in

My note 10+ will stop wireless charging if I have an adapter plugged in to listen to music. It only stops for about a second, then starts charging for about 15 seconds and the cycle repeats. If no adapter is plugged in, it works fine. Is there any way to fix this?

Thanks.

Is it an original Samsung adapter or aftermarket one?
Do you have a case on your phone?

I don't know if an original usb-c to 3.5mm analog socket would help (I'm not sure even if Samsung sells one), but I am sure that plugging in something in the usb-c connector, besides the original earphones, would disable the wireless charging. Wireless and cable charging is not possible simultaneously. What happens in your case is that the phone thinks you just plugged in a cable charger and then it disables the wireless. It then waits to see if cable charging is starting and when it doesn't detect any charging, it starts again the wireless. But then it detects again that something is plugged in the usb-c connector and cicle starts again. By the way, what usb-c to 3.5mm works for you? I already bought two of them, one with a second usb-c port for cable charging in the same time of listening to music, but none of them works because they are not digital devices. This the error I see when I connect them to the phone.

I haven't even tried one of the adapters I bought but my wireless car charger does a similar thing sometimes but I think it's the case causing it.
Have you looked at the settings for the USB-C port that it is not set for charging only?
Included earphones might be fine but aftermarket stuff getting recognised as a charger instead of audio

If you enable developer mode, then have a look at default usb configuration, I think it is set to charging only by default, maybe changing it could fix your issue.

It's aftermarket, I don't believe Samsung sells an adapter. The issue is there even without a case

Well at least that rules out a weak wireless connection due to the case.
I'm fairly sure Samsung do sell an official Samsung dongle but somehow doubt they would have made it proprietary without us knowing about it a long time ago.
Does it happen with the usb-c headphones from the box as well?

This is not entirely true. I use a wireless dock in my car with a 3.5 adapter plugged in for music and it works flawlessly.

Yes, it's possible, if your usb-c to 3.5 adapter is digital, this means, it has an A/D converter built-in. If the phone recognizes the adaptor as a digital device, then it will enable wireless charging. I bought 3.5 adaptors from Aliexpress, very cheap (less then $1.5, so not much to expect.
