Anybody else gets that initial screen when turning on your S10+? Why would Samsung add that to the start up, looking like a Windows Laptop? I never had that on my S9+ and previous gens. Also does your home screen icons pop up one-at-a-time quickly when turning it on? Or all fast at the same time?

I have that also. A extra step to starting up the phone. I haven't tested it yet, but does the phone actually work, such as receive calls, texts, and emails right away, or do you have to complete that start phone up part first?

So if I dont touch the screen after it starts up, theres a notification saying that I have to unlock the screen with my pattern to get notifications. As soon as I unlock it, the icons start to pop up one by one on the home screen, then I start receiving all the notifications. Does yours do that as well?

That happens to me too.i guess its normal...reminding us that it IS STARTING....maybe because people will say its lagging if it didnt show that start up dialogue.lols.

If im not wrong.it wont recieve anything.until you unlock it with the pin.i remember seeing the option somewhere before.somethinf like Secure Start Up.but couldnt seem to find it now...

My galaxy s8 won't get notifications either until I enter the pin after booting. this is nothing new.

You can turn it off in settings. settings > biometrics & security > other security settings > strong protection, then toggle on or off.

I never had it enabled on my past phones, but kinda like it now that it was set by default.

Wow, I never knew this, thank you! I turned it off since I still have to enter my password after a reboot anyways. It makes booting up faster. Thanks again.

That did the trick! Thank you so much.
