Phone just stops working at random

Had the V30 for roughly 3 weeks and its stopped working and had to be shut down and restarted about 5 times in the last 2 weeks. Callled verizon and was on the phone with them for over an hour while they did this and that and had my restart it after clearing the cache on things. If it were just an app that were shutting down i'd delete it, but its anything on the phone, app, camera, gallery, calendar. I am so fed up with the fact that I this is happening and verizon won't do anything about it.

Has anyone else experienced the same problem?

Unfortunately, if it's an app you installed that's causing instability, sometimes the only way to figure it out is to uninstall apps one by one until the problem goes away. You can try booting into Safe Mode to see if the problem goes away (which would therefore confirm that the problem is due to an app you installed), but it can't narrow things down beyond that (and it can be tedious, since it sounds like it doesn't happen very frequently).
