phone just updated not sure if its gingerbread

i just received a an update to my phone android version is still 2.2.1 but the kernel is (2.6.32.9-27240-gbca5320 android-build@apa26#1) not sure if its ginger bread or not but if so then there rolling it out

never mind i dont think it is i just realized what it is i had todo a reset this weekend and i believe its just the update from 2.2 too 2.2.1 sorry...

Same thing happened to me tonight too... strange. Got a message about a "double update". Still 2.2.1 afterwards. I formatted my SD over the weekend but can't imagine that would cause it
