Anyone else just get an update? My phone just installed:

Home (5.1.5)
360 Wallpaper (1.0.8)
Quick Help Service (5.0.9)
Smart Doctor (5.0.11) - what is this ?
Home & app drawer (4.80.7)

So that should put the whole app drawer issue to bed, and avoid the work around with installing it via LG smart world (which some couldn't get to work)

Tried to post this via the AC app as a screenshot, but it wouldn't let me add a thread.

Nothing here. I just tried to update and it says I'm up to date. These things are usually rolled out though so it could come in the next few days. I'm on Sprint btw.

I received 5.1.5 two days ago, but it did not have an app drawer, or at least I haven't been able to find it.

Where did you find your app drawer?

NM: I see. The renamed home 4UX "Home & app drawer" but did not add an app drawer to the new 5UX. 4 always had the app drawer....

Yup. Just got the updates. They were to the individual apps. Don't know what else was updated but they definitely changed the names.

I don't need it. I just created a separate folder on my home page and dumped all the useless apps there.

My home was updated yesterday. Then in had a red arrow to download the new home and app drawer which went to the LG app updates and did nothing. Then this morning, there was an 18.4mb update waiting and it was the app drawer.

I never really missed the app drawer personally, but now that I have it, I am liking it.

Where did you go to see those version numbers? Or are you saying those are all installed apps?

Settings - General - About Phone - Update Center- App Updates and look under the app for the version number.

The option "Settings - General - About Phone - Update Center" does not exist on my G5. Mine is a Verizon unit. Am I not going to get the update?
Thanks

Thanks for the reply, I am not sure what the difference is in "system updates" and "all updates" I am a noob to the LG line of phones.

System Updates are the nuts and bolts of the Android OS. Marshmallow 6.0.1 for example.

App Updates are updates to preinstalled apps from LG and their partners (Home, Clock, Facebook for example).

I haven't seen anything on my AT&T G5, nor do I App Updates.

Those version numbers I mentioned in my first post, i didn't go looking for them, I was just copying exactly what came up on the screen. It said "An update is available", and listed all those apps and version numbers, then updated them all when I clicked install. A couple of days ago I had a system update too, which I wasn't expecting. That did a full reboot like an android system update, and it was called "V10c-234-30" which I now see in 'about phone' under software version. It did tell me what the update was doing, but I honestly can't remember what it said now. Android version still says 6.0.1. I have an EE UK LG-H850.

The "Home and app drawer" launcher seems to behave slightly differently than the "Home" launcher, at least in terms of making changes to it. For example how @#$&! do you add additional pages?
