Ok im new to the whole rooting and loading roms thing so im sure Ive messed something up somewhere. Ok ive rooted my phone and also did a nandroid back-up. Then I proceeded to load the smokedglass rom and I looked like everything worked. But now everytime I shut off my phone and then turn it back on it just constantly reboots. I can stop it from doing that if I can unlock it fast enough and it works fine. I was just wondering if there anyway that I can fix that problem its really more annoying than anything but my guess is that it isnt good for the phone.

If you have astro back up your apps. Then reboot into recovery. Once their wipe data cache the go and install that rom again. If you want you can do a nandroid backup prior to wiping data. Hopefully that will work. What I'm thinking you just have something installed that's. Not likeing your setup

Reboot your phone in sprecovery by holding down the "x" key on the physical keyboard then turn on your phone or if your phone is still rebooting on its own just hold down the "x" at the start.

This will put you into the sprecovery then you need to wipe/factory reset then try to reload the rom and that should fix it.

That's why I said you should back up your apps using astro so you only have to download that and every other app will be on your sdcard. Or you can let the market do its job and restore all your apps

Yes I like the community and hackability if that's a word of android so much more. Plus I don't see many trolls around here
