Phone Keypad hides

I connect to many conference calls where you dial the number, listen to the greeting, then enter a PIN.

So I dail the number then wait, then the keypad always vanishes as soon as the call connects. This is actually driving me nuts, so if there is a way to stop this behaviour I'd love to know.

You might be able to find a third-party dialer app that you like better, but, otherwise, no.

Of course, you realize that you can pop the keypad back up, right? Extra effort, I know, but it is there and available.

Yes of course I know its there 3rd party diallers seem to end up just calling the phone app anyway.
