Phone Lockup - Verizon S8+

Just a note for others. I have had my phone lockup 3 times since last weekend while unlocking. I use the FPS to unlock from the AOD screen and 3 times the phone has locked at my home screen. Everything is displayed correctly but I cannot access anything on the phone other than the power button. Hitting that back to the AOD and unlocking again and the phone is fine. No idea other than the unlock cycle gets funked up and doesn't fully complete.

Could be a software or firmware issue. Have you tried a soft reset? Maybe a factory reset? Sorry you're having issues.

Possibly right but it hasn't been anything other than annoying to this point. Factory reset would be last resort, but I'm still thinking the unlock cycle is getting hung up. I use that all the time because the iris unlock is very unreliable.

Well if it's the FPS it could be firmware, or there's a background service or app related that's causing issues. Did you try a soft reset at the time of hang up?

Indirectly correct Evidently I got a little exuberant with BK Disabler and disabled something that was needed. I cancelled everything and phone stated behaving again. Being more selective now...
