Phone mic dead after ICS update

Call VZ did about 45 minutes of troubleshooting but still no fix for the hearing aid setting aside from turning it off. Well, if you have hearing aids that is not a fix. They suggested contacting HTC, I haven't done so yet. The good thing though, is that I can turn that setting off and still hear because it's sufficiently load when I have the volume all the way up, but would like to take advantage of the hearing aids setting if it were possible.
