Phone not charging!!!

My LG Optimus Black phone will not charge. i've tried my charger with a different phone and it works, but no charger will charge my phone. I don't know what's wrong with the phone or know how much it would cost to get it fixed. Also when the phone over-heats or hasn't been used for a while, the phone doesn't respond properly. it does things like: type random letters when i'm pressing backspace or any other letter, zooms in when i'm looking at a web page or photo, the power/lock button doesn't respond and causes the phone to freeze and the phone freezes a lot more then usal when its over-heated or if hasn't been used for a few days. Plus the phone will connect to the internet, but after an hour or 2 or less it will lose connection and wont reconnect.
