phone not charging

[AC Question]

i dropped my suasung s6 in the bath last night and its been saying battery temprature low charging paused and now in the morning its saying battery temperature to high its working fine as far as i can see it just wont charge because of that

Damage of some sort or other has presumably been done, perhaps via the charging port.
Also, any water damage may be progressive and cause failure after a period of time.
