Phone not receiving email alerts until i refresh???

[AC Question]

My outlook at work alerts when i get a new email. My phone will not receive the email until i refresh the mailbox? I have all syncs on and have signed back in multiple times. It works for a few minutes then stops!? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Sir all time you have to refresh your mail box it will not tell you automatically
When emails are in important it will tell you and which are not in important it will not tell you
