Phone not remembering WiFi passwords

Hi,
I have a Samsung Galaxy S6 (SMG920F) with Android Version 7.
Every time I wish to log on to any of my regularly used WiFi routers, I am always being asked for the WiFi access password.
This only seems to have happened recently. I use 3 different routers in different locations for WiFi and in the past, my phone normally used to log-on to the WiFi router without having to enter the passwords - it seemed to remember them after logging on for the first time.
Can anyone explain why this is happening now and offer a possible solution to this annoying problem...

It should remember the passwords. Try the old cache partition wipe trick...
