Phone not timing out

I have noticed that sometimes my phone stays on longer than the screen timer I set it to. Today I took my phone off the charger and I guess I got on the internet real fast and put it down. I came back an hour later to get my phone and it was still on, the screen never timed out. I have it set to 15 seconds. I don't know how to fix this issue. Any help? Thanks

It's been happening for a while, but I haven't made nothing of it till today when the screen stayed on for an hour...usually I'm next to my phone to turn it the screen off when I see that's been on for longer than usual

I'm trying to find the setting where it detects if your looking at your screen and it keeps it on. I just can't seem to find it. I want to try that, maybe that is keeping my screen on.

That's in settings>advanced feature >motion and gestures>smart stay

But you have to keep looking at it , I dont think that's your issue

You can put it in safe mode see if its happening?

It's weird it seems like it only happens when I'm on Samsung browser. . I just tried it and yup it stays on.

So something going on in the Samsung browser, try clearing its data,cache and force stop it
