Phone not Vibrating for Notifications

I have my phone set on vibrate only and checked vibrate for notifications for email and sms messages but I'm still not getting vibrating notifications. Any suggestions?

I got the same problem. I think i seen somewhere that you have to do a soft reset ? I never did it so yeah

Noooo, stop! Get "Sound Manager" from the market - then go in, click on MENU, then VIBRATE SETTINGS, then make sure they are set to "Vibrate whenever possible". You more than likely had an app that changed these settings to "Don't vibrate".

You can even delete the sound manager afterwards.

Sound Manager is awesome, I set it up to mute the phone mostly at 11pm and re-enable the sounds in the morning.
