Question Phone now Locked + "This phone has been lost" error during emergency

Evacuate Mode in FL. Woke up to
Pin # unaccepted. Phone now Locked + "This phone has been lost". Don't ask. Samsung has a ticket created tkt (omg, they kinda suck, huh?) for me to send back? They Just cleared the road! This is my only means of Communication.
Need my phone.

We only have another working cel & i luckily brought pwbook w/ me.

Any help?

Cannot 🚫 edit thread.

So, Got thru to Samsung #, Finally... Told me my Only Option is to
FACTORY RESET.

Really? is this true guys (& gals) ?
Is this why i have no Answers😭

Would be grateful for help ✨

I'm a bit puzzled -- where are you seeing "This phone has been lost"? Is that on the phone's display, or is it on the Samsung SmartThings Find website or Google's Find My Device website?
this is showing on my phone.
1st chat to samsung, he assured me i would be contacted & help is in the way

these are the texts i got from Samsung. Apologies for large size. hope they go thru.

What i am gathering thru all this, + conversation w/a person 😱 , they wanted me to send my g24u back to them [for a Factory Reset].

Stupid.

Obviously i cannot verify with Google or Samsung - sending verification codes to my phone.
SO
I wondered if i was to buy an inexpensive phone, hopefully find a T-Mobile store open for Sim card - Could this help straighten out somehow? Verification +
maybe a Samsung phone to "smartthings" over?
At Very least, check Drop Box backup, Google Backup status. Uggghhh.
I'm not happy.

Good scenario where Cellular rocks. Wi-Fi is down. Old iPad, works in a pinch.
Generator & lots of ⛽.

Did you already check SmartThings Find or Google's Find My Device to see if there's an option to mark your device as "Found"? Maybe that will allow you to log in.

Yyeassss. Only with "Smart Things Find".
(Cannot sign into Google - Inability to verify).

NO "Found" option.

Honestly, I should have ck'd w/
you all 1st. I pppanicked. Must have read wrong in my 😵‍💫 state - thought it said I can report lost, then can change pin id & change it back.

"Get what is Important to you". You start thinking... well, what IS important? DO NOT THINK... Important documents, fav photo of your mom... Put them up high, otherwise this 15' direct hit surge may ruin your house. You may come back to Nothing.
Never been scared before, this one, okay, yeas.

Any hope for me? What if i get another (< $) Samsung phone & set up w/ Smart Things?
At least transfer of files somewhat easily?
Other backups: Google, Samsung (supposedly) & Dropbox. Should be a blast.

Looked up ACs ref to Odin, post is 2015. updated?
I Do have v16.7.10 iPad,
& grabbed 1tb Ext Storage.
Have use of this at nite.

In each Samsung Forum since the Note 9 I have left a sticky how to flash with Odin they all follow same principles, you'll need latest Odin and Frija firmware tools from XDA website

Plus, we REALLLLY need protocol in place for persons in these Disasters... "Displaced".

Geek Squad is pretty solid. they've been very helpful to me with a couple of PCs. I haven't needed them for a Galaxy phone, but good to know they're worth a try.
