I have only owned this phone for a day and having some issues with it. First it has shut off on me and turned back on by itself a few times. Next if I walk more than maybe 12 feet from the phone using my bluetooth headset it cuts out and I can't hear anything. Same thing with my wifi, if I go more than 20 feet from that there is almost no connection and everything goes very slow or it says retry connection. I never had these problems with my droid at all. I am not sure if I should return it or not. How many days do I have and can I switch it out for another device? I really like this phone but am now thinking I should have gone with the droid x. Any suggestions?

you have 30 days to return it for a $35 restocking fee (unless you replace it with the same phone).

I too had problems, although not the same as yours, that drove me to getting the incredible. Couldn't be happier. A lot of people however, have had no problems at all.

I'd say try hard resetting before giving up on it entirely. If it still gives you issues, then return it for another Fascinate or another phone.

I really like this phone. I am afraid if I return it and get the same phone it would do the same thing. Would they give me a new one or a refurb even if it only a day old? I am so undecided on what to do. Has anyone had the same problems I am talking about? I forgot to mention when I use the voice search for texting or putting a address in the for the nav it won't pick up anything or says not available.

If it's within the 30 days, you'll get a new one as a replacement. Keep swapping until you get one that works for you. And don't let the Verizon rep tell you there is nothing wrong with the phone. I've been lucky and haven't had any issues with mine (other then the GPS).

I have nticedthat my signal strength is lower than other phone I've had. But I have never dropped a call or anything like that.
