phone reset apps

I had to do a full phone reset last night , i noticed that when my phone came back up that i had different preinstalled apps then when i first brought my phone . I found this weird and was wondering if anything expierenced this also

There is some apps on my phone that weren't there when i first bought my phone like cbs sports,lookout,scout and others.

Possibly your phone was updated and included more carrier bloat.

Im running 4.2.2 android

They were installed as part of the profile update that kicked off when you did the factory rest. After reset, the phone talks to the sprint server and started downloading all the stuff

So i was supposed to get these apps eventually even if i didnt reset my phone ?
