Phone Resolution is Wonky?

I've had my note 3 for less than a month now and the resolution looks very odd. I don't know if it's just me or not but it looks like the kind of thing where if you have say a computer monitor that can handle only up to 720p and you play a youtube video that's 1080p. (Of course this is only a noticeable problem with fine lines like text. I'd recommend looking at it while watching an animated show like any cartoon or anime etc.) Does anyone know how I could fix this or if it's even a problem?
