Phone says i have insufficient storage, but i have more than enough.....

I have an LG, with an external sd card. I have tried unmounting the sd card, installing it, and remounting it, but still said it has insufficient storage. I also tried restarting my phone. Help Please.

The internal storage message usually has nothing to do with SD storage. It's referring to the inability to utilize internal storage for installing app data.
