Ok so I went through 25 pages of posts in the EVO 4G section. I remember seeing somewhere to check the settings in the EVO because it's set for GSM as the primary network or something like that. Can someone help me? Right now I'm thinking I'm crazy because I can't find it.

Please help so I don't think I'm crazy.

Download "network" app from the store, open it and check that your preferred network is set to "cdma auto", i think that is what you are looking for. For some reason evos came out set as gsm auto. You can also change it without the network app but its easier with it

The thread you're referring to was a thread on how to increase battery usage.
I D/L'd Network and my EVO was already set for CDMA Auto. Maybe just the first ones were incorrect? I got mine 2 weeks after initial offering...
