Phone slow and keeps crashing

I never had any problems with my phone until last week, when I fot the latest software update. Now it's just slow and laggy in everything, typing, opening the menu or apps and when I play a game half of the screen goes black and I have to reboot.. Sometimes when I want to lock the phone and press the power button once instead of locking it reboots..it's really starting to **** me off.

I'm just posting here to see if there is a simple fix otherwise it's going back to the store.

Have you cleared the cache & junk files? Could be as simple as that. If that doesn't help try resetting to factory settings.

I have yes, if I do a factory reset will I lose all my files?

Ps. Which app do u recommend for cleaning?

Yes, you'll lose all your files so back everything up. Apps and app data should automatically be backed up to your Google account so you'd be asked if you wish to restore from that when reset completes.

For cleaning I personally use LG's inbuilt cleaning, and sometimes Clean Master as I notice it cleans junk files that LG doesn't always find.

If you use it just don't bother with the ram booster and turn off all Auto / run in background settings of the app. I just use it as and when required.
