Phone stuck in eternal samsung logo at boot.

Hi guys.
Rooted S3.
I don't know what's happening but sometimes my phone starts rebooting randomly.
However, just yesterday, after another random restart, my phone was stuck on the glowing samsung logo.
I went into recovery mode and re-partitioned the cache (or something to do with the cache) multiple times, to no success.
I also went into recovery mode and erased all user data twice, to no success.
I went into Odin and put my phone into Download Mode (which worked) to load stock rom. That didn't work as well, although I did see a bit of the homescreen UI (Android is updating...) but then it went back to the Samsung Logo.
I tried battery pulls and stuff like that.

When I finally gave up last night after reflashing and erasing user data from recovery mode many times, I just let it sit overnight and let the battery die. I then went to school to let it charge, and when I got back, it was still on the logo. Turning it off, then turning it back on, it actually went to the first time screen where you'd set up your phone.

I just want to know if there might be any way to check what's causing this boot to be stuck (one thread mentioned using SDK tools and looking at logs).

I'm afraid to install any apps (my phone's already rooted again) that might do this again.

Another question is why does my phone restart randomly? Is there a way to find out why / what's causing it?

Welcome to the forums.
That would be where the logcat would come in. However, I do not know how to pull one.
My question is what change happened right before the boot loop?

I am wondering if you ever found a way to log or view what event caused this to happen? I also have a Galaxy S3 (stock however). I have had this happen well over a dozen times! This is my second phone. The first was replaced for this reason and the second is still doing this. I have tried suggestions such as remove the SD card, use a different SD card, and use a different size SD card. I have pulled the battery. I have cleared the cache. I have monitored which apps are installed on the device. Always the same result leaving me with the only option being to factory reset my phone! Any advice would be very much appreciated!

I also have a samsung ace 3 and its also stucked on the samsung boot screen and it doesnt go forward . i have tries everything including wiping data , clearing cache clearing data etc , but still it doesnt go forward . can anybody help me out with this . thanks in advance
