I have vodafone smart platinum 7. i bought this already used about 6 months ago, i don't know if the problem is related to my update or my battery but after the update my phone lost it's fingerprint sensor, it showed " fingerprint enrollment not available''. Then it started to hang and restart. it used to restart and stuck on the vodafone logo 5-6 times before booting up properly, ( i had to wipe cache and sometimes hard reset to boot it up). Then it started to happen more often. Even if a charger is connected the phone restarts and hang then turn off, the battery light blinks couple of times and phone starts again. this happened to me for about 2 weeks. but since yesterday the phone restarts and hangs on " powered by android ", i can only access bootloader but can't go to the recovery mode. My Pc does not detect my phone, i tried ADB and Droid Explorer but no avail. I opened its back with the help of a sharpener blade and playing cards, removed the wire of battery from the board and plugged in the charging cable but still nothing changes, When i enter download mode, it says " entering download mode" but the phone restarts, On the device manger it just shows "android" with the yellow caution sign. Help plis!!

Welcome to Android Central! Unfortunately, it sounds like a significant hardware problem, likely with the motherboard. I'm not sure it's something that can be fixed easily -- the entire motherboard would probably have to be replaced.
