Phone thinks Selfie stick is 'media previous' not Volume

Hi everyone,

My HTC One thinks that the capture button on my selfie stick is "Media Previous [88]" rather than being detected as a "volume" key.
How can I configure this?

I had the same problem and couldn't find a work around, however if you download the app SelfiShop Camera from the playstore it's really easy to configure on that.
