Phone turning back on!?!

Since the 2.3.6 update if I turn off my phone and plug it into the charger while it is shutting off it will restart instead of staying off. Now while not really a problem I wanted to know if anyone had this issue or a solution because it has been going off in the night and waking me up.

Mine does the same thing. Power the phone down and let it shut all the way down and wait 15 to 20 second then plug it in. that is what I have to do with mine.
