Phone updated - now lost contacts, messages etc

When phone connected to wifi yesterday some HTC update was ran.

I now seem to have lost all my contacts, SMS messages, some apps and all photos.

Anyone know how I can sort this?

oh dear, that doesn't sound good. Try installing a program like ES file explorer https://forums.androidcentral.com/e...com.estrongs.android.pop&hl=en&token=HjPcjtV6

Browse through the files and see if you can see any of your photos. Maybe a folder has glitched out. Did you have your photo's and contact's sync to google?
