Yes, I just got my Shift for free from BestBuy. Came with 2.2 and first thing I'm doing is upping to GB. This is great because I don't have to wait for my next paycheck after paying bills.

Congratulations on your new Shift... By the way, if you have any plans of rooting your Shift you may want to reconsider upgrading from Froyo.

I don't think I'll be rooting any time soon. This is my first Android so I want to get used to using it in general before going that far.
