Hi,
Since the latest software update was installed yesterday my Galaxy S10 Plus repeatedly vibrates when on charge. I have tried 3 different chargers and the same thing happens. It will vibrate twice, then wait for about 10 seconds, then vibrate twice again, and so on.
As soon as I take the charger out it is fine again.
Can anyone help, please?
Many thanks.

Go to settings and check the option circled in the screenshot.

If that doesn't work , can try safe mode while charging see if it still does it .

Hi,
I have tried both of these and it still vibrates.
But now I cannot reboot my phone in normal mode, it keeps starting up again in safe mode?

It did, but on the 3rd attempt it has come out of safe mode, so that is okay now.
Vibrating on charge is still there unfortunately, and other people in the house can hear it when I’m charging my phone, so I’m not very popular at the moment, lol.
But this has only been happening since the last Samsung update, surely that can’t be a coincidence?
Is there any way to undo an update?

So it vibrated, while in safe mode And charging at the same time?
And to clarify, you say your housemates are getting disturbed from hearing your phone vibrate? What exactly are you referring to?

Yes, it still vibrated in safe mode when on charge.
I normally charge my phone over night, but with it vibrating all the time the other people in the house could hear the sound from the vibrating, even though they were in different rooms.
I had to turn my phone off to charge it after a while, as it doesn’t vibrate if turned off, but I don’t really want to turn it off...in case of an emergency and someone needs to contact me.

I thought I would try restoring the phone, but thought I had better back it up to my PC first, and as soon as I connect it to the PC the same thing happens. 2 vibrations every 10 seconds or so.
So, it seems to be every time I plug a USB lead in to the phone?
I have tried 6 different USB leads, and a wireless charger, but the same thing happens every time.

Make sure the charging port is clean

Just did a factory reset, then restored from my PC backup and all is fine now, no more vibrating.
Whilst I am happy with this, it's a bit annoying that I never knew what was causing it, but at least it is okay now.
Many thanks for your help, much appreciated.

Glad it's ok now

I'm having the exact same issue and I can't afford to do a factory reset.

How it happens:
1. Plug in charging cable
2. Phone starts to charge
3. Towards 93% and above, usually around 95%, the phone starts vibrating for no specific reasons
4. When it vibrates it may show the charging level on the middle of the screen (big round circle overlay showing charging level)
5. If i unplug the charger it stops doing this
6. The vibration is loud enough and repetitive enough to wake you up

What I tried:
- Silent modes => Didn't work
- deactivate all vibrations for notifications => didn't work
- de-activate charging sound and charging vibration => Testing. Looks like this might have worked for me. Some stupid hidden setup.
