phone vibrating when making a call

No, thats pretty wiered. Maybe you got a text at that time? If you mean vibrate feedback thats just feedback for telling you, you pressed a number...

Mine does when the phone is away from the ear (screen is still on), otherwise no it doesn't.

Mine does too. I haven't discovered a switch that turns it off. It signifies call connection.

When the call connects there is a short vibration.

Sent fom my Thunderbolt using Tapatalk for your reading pleasure.

Does anyone elses phone vibrate at the begining when placing a call? What does it signify?

It is by design. It signifies an outbound signal connection was made successfully. My previous HTC Sense WinMo phone had a menu selection to turn it off/on. Can't find anything on the TBolt.

Yeah, mine does that too. I wanna know how to turn it off. it confuses me into thinking i have a text, lol

I used to hate it, but now I got so used to it that when I'm using my wife's iPhone or my blackberry, I keep waiting for it to vibrate before I put the phone to my ear!
