Phone won't charge!!!!

I woke up this morning to a message on my phone saying "the connected charger is incompatible with this phone. To prevent further damage to your phone charging has been stopped. To continue charging, use the original charger and cable that were provided with this phone." I have never had this problem before and I am using the original cord. I had also tried other chargers in it and I get the same message. My phone just updated to the new lollipop but I doubt that has anything to do with it. Can someone please help????
