Android Central Question

Hi. I have a LG Stylo 2 and this night I went to go look at my phone as it let me know that I had notifications but when i double tapped nothing happened and when i pushed the home button it also just stayed on the black screen. It was like this for about 5 minutes so I thought Maybe if I hooked it up to the charger something would change but nothing did. I decided to take the battery out for a few seconds. Put the battery back in and now the phone wont even turn on. I hold the power button for 30 seconds i get nothing, Put it on the charger wait a few minutes and try to turn it on noting. Do some variations of taking the battery out, letting charge and holding down the power button has done nothing. Any way to fix this?

Put it on the charger wait a few minutes
If the battery is completely dead (you should never let any lithium battery get down below 40%) it's going to take an hour or two on the charger before it even begins to charge, so leave it connected for at least 4 or 5 hours before trying to turn the phone on (with the charger still connected). (Remember the Note 7 and explosions? That's what happens if you try to charge a totally dead lithium battery, so it "pre-charges" for quite a while before enough charge leaks into it that it's safe to charge. A few minutes won't charge it enough to turn the phone off, let alone on.)

If it doesn't turn on after being connected to the charger for at least 4 hours, the battery could be dead, the power switch could be bad - it has to go into a repair shop.
