Phonebook download to Uconnect

I'm getting a vehicle with a Uconnect 8.4. It will automatically download my phone's phonebook, if my Moto Z Force supports that feature. So, does my Moto Z support downloading my phonebook to the Uconnect? I assume that "phonebook" is the same as "contacts" on my phone. Thanks.

From my experience, yes that means your phones Contacts will sync to the U Connect system. With our Jeep (UConnect 8.4) it displays the callers name if it's a contact, and same with new texts.

Just make sure you select "yes" when prompted during the first pairing to allow Uconnect access to phone book and contacts etc. If you miss that prompt you might need to pair the phone again.

I got my new Jeep and the phonebook downloaded to the uConnect 8.4. First, I was prompted to give permission.

I'm too late to be helpful, but I can confirm this works with UConnect 8.4 on a 2016 Ram 1500 truck.
