phones been acting wonky....want to bring back to stock

Currently running EF 3.6.1? or .0 not sure. EC09. Phones been acting wierd lately, random reboots, or phone just shuts off by itself, some FC with google docs.... I want to bring it completly back to stock. Its been so ling since I've done anything drastic like this, there are so many threads....can someone help me?

I want to get back to stock, OTA to the latest software, Root, and get com rom again.

Here you go. i sorta had the same stuff going on the other day so i did the same thing. Started at stock, ended at commrom 2.1

Thank you! Just booting up now. back to stock. then gonna OTA to latest version, then I can root, right? like I said, its been a long time.

Either that or do the stock rooted, CWM and debloated package that is out there. I went that route instead of waiting for the OTA to download and install. but it is your call

If you are going to eventually flash Comm ROM, no need to root ahead of time. Comm ROM includes root. So after you OTA, just ODIN the latest CWM, boot directly to CWM, then flash Comm ROM 2.0, boot up phone to let the ROM fully load, boot to CWM, flash 2.1 patch.

uh oh....something must have gone wrong.....TiBu says that I am not rooted. I have superuser icon, but theres no apps in the list. where did I go wrong?

I followed landsharks directions in the previous post exactly.


nevermind....rebooted and all is well! I probably should have rebooted beofre asking my 8 million questions lol

No problem. If that happens again in TiBu, just click the problems box on the lower left in TiBu and it will direct you to download the latest busybox or su, can't remember which.

Thanks. Most of the apparently came back. Weird. I had to download a few. Funny I've never had a problem with tibu. Oh well, thanks again.
