Has anyone else that was stock but rooted notice that when u turn on ur phone it still shows the unlocked symbol or root symbol as most know it? Or am I the only one with that?

It doesnt mean its rooted it just means the bootloader is unlocked.

Why you looking to remove root?

That would be the only way is to go in and delete Superuser.apk, personally I've never done it but it could have a unwanted chain reaction.

No I'm not rooted no more lol I was rooted but I lost it when I got the ics update but I still have the icon and I can't seem to root again which I'm trying to do what I'm I doing wrong???

I've tried shabby penguin one click but it keeps freezing probably because I still have the superuser icon any help fellow ns4g users lol

Try following my guide for doing it the manual way thru fast boot and your bootloader. Those one clicks can be fussy. Check the rooting and hacking forums for my sticky guide on rooting your device windows method.

Once you get CWM recovery on there all you do then is flash super user.
