Photo Album

Does anyone know how the default Photo Album on the Eris organizes pics?

I created several different folders on the computer with the pics sorted alphabetically. All the folders show alphabetically in the Photo Album, but the pics in the folders are all out of order.

Any ideas?

Perhaps another photo viewer from the Market?

I think it is the latest taken photo(s) are at the very bottm

the pics are sorted on my phone from oldest (far left) to newest (far right). it always loads the newests picture first for me (far right).

That's what I finally figured out. Sadly, I don't use the camera much, so that sorting doesn't help me much.

What I want is to sort by name. I have pics of my wife and I dating back to 1991 and I've always had them on my device (even when I was carring a Palm Pilot and the viewer was "gray scale"). However, over the yrs I've cropped, coppied, or done whatever to all these pics and somehow changed the dates, so in the Albums it shows them all out of order. Bummer.

I've looked, but apparently there's no way to change the sorting.

This sorting curse still holds true on my Evo... I know theres more than a few of us out there that would like the OPTION to sort by name. Every other device ive used it had the choice... seems like a no-brainer to me really

Just Pictures in the market will allow alphabetical sorting. It does picasa web albums, flickr, facebook, and others too. And it's free. I think it's about the best gallery there is.

I use JustPictures also and am very happy with it. Great app. Frees up space on my SD for music etc and I can keep my pics where they are.
