How do you view a album where you can see more than 3 pictures? I can't seem to find anywhere you can change the setting.

I don't have your phone, but on my SGS4 I can open an album and pinch to zoom in and out. This will display more or less photos depending on the gesture I use. I hope this addressed the situation you are describing.

I just was recently pointed to QuickPic app you might find what u want in it. I like it better than the default gallery.
