Do I understand correctly that the camera takes only one size picture, i.e., 4.0 MP 16:9 Aspect Ratio (2688 x 1520).
I can find no adjustments to change the photo quality. The video quality can be changed, of course. Am I missing something or is this one fixed, photo size (quality)?
I read the user guide and checked every setting in the photo mode (I think).

No, there is an option to make 4:3 and square, under the Crop menu in the camera

Thanks. I saw that. I was looking for a setting like other phone cameras have such as large, medium, small, etc. I guess because of the pixel/sensor size they decided to do it as a crop setting. I just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing something.

OK, I misunderstood the initial question. I guess they figured the 4mp file was small enough. Also may have something to do with using the in highlights/zoes, but who knows.

No the camera does not have a full and reduced mp size. Just full 4mp.
But when you do use the different formats such as 4:3 or 1:1, you are just cropping the image and thus get a reduced pixel count.
