Photo messed up but fine as tile preview.

[Android Central Question]

I have a Samsung Galaxy A52s. And one of my photos is weirdly messed up, (vetically split) half of it has shifted upward whereas the other half is fine, and the tile preview on the gallery looks like it's fine. I've tried restarting my phone, problem's still there. I don't use an SD card, and this is stressing me out as it's a photo of my late cat who I'm still grieving.

What happens if you copy that photo to another device (like your computer). Does it still look corrupted there?

Try resetting your phone app by long press the icon then tap info>go to storage and clear Data then force stop it
