Photo Quality Observation

why is it that the camera pics once its in the gallery look somewhat out of focus until it's zoomed in just a tad??

Anyone else notice this?

There's another thread about this as well.

I've noticed it in the Gallery, but since the pics are ok and displaying them full screen clears them up, I'm ok with the bug.

I imagine it's the result of a tradeoff they made in the gallery software in order to display the preview images more quickly.
