Photo sizing

Hi All, Just got my new xperia SP and I am having probelms viewing photos. I have a lot of 10-20M pixel photos, but as the screen is limited to 1280x720 I resized them to this resolution to save sd memory space. Some dispay full screen , some just show a thumbnail. Can anyone explain why? Is there a simple fix?

Welcome to the forums.

If they were originally .jpg files did you try saving them as .png as well. If not, I'd give that a shot as well as considering their file size (perhaps larger photos aren't displaying?)
